Conductive education seems almost wholly to have moved away from blogs as a means of sharing news and reflections. Having mostly 'moved on' - a new look to an old blog

I have now very largely completed 'moving on'. I've a new name for the blog (C.E.Jottings) and registered a new domain name (cejottings.co.uk) with GoDaddy. The good people at Typepad have helped me 'map' the new domain name onto the old one (or is it vice-versa?). One option was simply to close down the old PacesCEO blog. One small blog, the Rotherham abuse report & the search for managers responsible

As can be seen below, it's a busy day if visitors to this small and rather narrowly special interest blog amount to 10 visitors. However, the impact on the visitor stats of the Rotherham abuse story is dramatically revealed by this graph. Who thinks generating this garbage is a good idea?

OK, so who does? Because there seems to be quite a lot of this sort of garbage about - mostly in abstracts of articles for learned journals. This is the latest example, I've come across. Every week, I get data from Sitemeter about 'traffic' on my blog. Today, the good people at Sitemeter tell me, quite free of charge: Page Views Total ....................... 27,672 Average per Day ................. 20 Average per Visit .............. 1.5 This Week ...................... 143 From the blog itself I can track in real time, visitors to the blog, using Feedjit live. The Conductive Web is no more. This morning I deleted the Netvibes account for The Conductive Web. The Conductive Web was one of the first attempts - maybe even the very first - to attempt to aggregate links to all conductive education blogs in one place.
