Every week, I get data from Sitemeter about 'traffic' on my blog. Today, the good people at Sitemeter tell me, quite free of charge: Page Views Total ....................... 27,672 Average per Day ................. 20 Average per Visit .............. 1.5 This Week ...................... 143 From the blog itself I can track in real time, visitors to the blog, using Feedjit live. Stephen Twigg supports Conductive Education!

The Shadow Education Secretary, Stephen Twigg, I read in this morning’s press, is in favour of all teachers being trained. Conductors are trained. Ergo Stephen Twigg is in favour of Conductive Education! Well, no. I’m kidding. It’s a fantasy as well as a non sequitur. Actually, it’s also a case of misreporting. Something to admit to being proud of! "Honorary Conductor" indeed. Me!

The email was from Rony Schenker. What it had to say originated not with Rony but from Eva Beck of the International Peto Association. "Dear Dr Schenker" it began, then: Thank you for recommending Mr Norman Perrin for the Honorary Conductor Award. In its latest meeting the Senate of the Peto Institute decided on nominations for the Award. We are pleased to inform you that the nomination was accepted.
