Paces Sheffield is a charitable company based on the North West Side of Shefﬁeld. The Charity runs a non-maintained special school judged as ’Outstanding’ in the latest Ofsted report, providing conductive education for 35 pupils (term time provision), together with adult services supporting motor disorders including Stroke, Parkinson’s & Multiple Sclerosis (adult services are offered 51 weeks of the year).
Paces promotes the care, welfare, interest, treatment and education of persons with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders. The charity aims to support all pupils and adults, and their families, into independent adulthood as active citizens through conductive education teaching. This is achieved both from within and outside our school setting through family advocacy and education research.
The Board of Trustees are, therefore seeking to appoint an exceptional leader who will build on strong foundations, recognise opportunities for further development and challenge the charity to further improve.
Our new Chief Executive will lead the Charity into our next exciting phase of development, sharing our passion for ensuring the highest possible standards. We are looking for an ambitious strategic leader who will build on our many successes, bringing a total commitment to delivering sustained improvement and the best possible outcomes for all our pupils, adults and families. Working closely with a supportive Board of Trustees and skilled teams across the Charity, the Chief Executive will lead the implementation of our strategy to ensure innovation, quality and growth.
